Competing against 17 other Boccia teams from across Belfast for the coveted Sam Hunter Boccia Shield, this years win by “The 3 C,s” have made it three in a row for Jigsaw NI teams. Also making the finals was another Jigsaw team “Glynis’ Boys” who were the runners up. The tournament throughout was very tight culminating in a well fought final. “Mary’s mates” (also of Jigsaw) had won the tournament the previous 2 years. Clare Lagan, Manager of Jigsaw NI, said “This is a wonderful achievement, one that has never been done before in the lifespan of the tournament. The group get great enjoyment and excitement from their weekly session and it is obvious that they are improving all the time. Well done and congratulations to all the teams, especially “Glynis’ Boys” and the winners “The 3 C’s.”
